Guidelines

SVAI is a self-service sauna, and we greatly appreciate that you read and follow our guidelines.

All swimming and use of the sauna is at your own risk.

• Never go swimming alone - Always bring a swimming buddy.
• Only use fresh water on the sauna oven (from the tap under the shower) - This is important as all other liquids will damage the heater. Including salt water, beer etc.
• Towel - Bring two towels. One to sit on and one to dry yourself
• Soap / shampoo - Please do not use soap or shampoo in the shower, as the water will go straight in the ocean.
• Alcohol - For private bookings we allow moderate amounts of alcohol. Please be careful not to stain the wood. It is not allowed to drink outside the sauna or changing room. People that are visibly intoxicated is denied access to the sauna. We do not recommend alcohol combined with saunaing and swimming.
• Snacks - Feel free to enjoy snacks, but please only in the changing room area.
• Buoys - Please stay inside the yellow buoys when you are swimming, to avoid boat traffic in the harbor.
• Toilet - Unfortunately, there are no toilets onboard SVAI. The nearest toilet is at Thon Hotel. We kindly ask that you do not use swimwear in the reception area.
• Garbage - there are garbage cans outside the sauna. We greatly appreciate that the sauna is clean for the next guests to arrive.
